Scuola di Musica 55 is a music school of trieste. The school produced in 2007 the first annual report about the social impact of their activities on the local community.
We designed the pubblication in A4 format, printed in two colors.
The basic idea was to give two different graphic interpretation of the music notation: one decorative (for the cover and the openings of each chapter) and one functional (the index and the page numbering). Except the red round logo (designed by Roberto Duse), the school didn’t have a specific visual identity. We choose to use a strong presence of black and red ink, and a single font to use through out the pubblication (FF Kievit, designed by Michael Abbink). Photos by Walter Bohm and Domenico Ponziano
